WELLNESS SESSIONS AND COVID-19
Sessions currently available in the following formats:
WALK 'N TALK SESSIONS
SESSIONS IN A PRIVATE OUTDOOR SPACE
~~I have a private outdoor office space that offers 6-10' distance for client and therapist. You will be asked to wear a mask for this.
~~I also offer walk and talk sessions with mask wearing, if that is your choice.
Contact at: or 540-726-5586
I provide 1-3 Online Wellness Sessions at a sliding scale cost.
If you are in a crisis or any other person may be in danger, call 911, go to the nearest ER or Police Station.
A few Wellness Sessions could increase resiliency-balance and decrease stress during this uncertain and chaotic time we are living in. As social distancing and mask-wearing becomes a new normal, talking with someone might help you manage the changes a bit more compassionately and gracefully.
I do not take insurance at this time. Sliding scale rate depending on length of session and your financial situation. Times: 30, 45 and 60 minutes sessions.
Online Telemental Health sessions are Doxy.me, Zoom or FaceTime as HIPPA compliant platforms. Phone sessions are also available.
DETAILS OF MY APPROACH AND STYLE:
I offer a array of traditional, creative and complementary therapies. My work is based on Carl Jung's philosophy that every client is a unique person who needs
individualized treatment. Starting from this premise, I may integrate a variety of models of therapy, specifically chosen to fit your unique and individual needs.
During normal times, I offer "Walk & Talk" and client-therapist-chosen locations for those who are stifled by a traditional office setting.
POSSIBLE BENEFITS AND SOLUTIONS
I encourage you to take a deep breath and imagine the possible solutions and gains you may get from therapy.
The ultimate goal is to help you decrease suffering and gain greater acceptance and fulfillment in life. Despite the discomfort and challenges inherent to psychotherapy, some of the possible benefits of therapy might include:
acceptance of life as it is
a more balanced view of life and relationships
the ability to be more present to yourself and your relationships in your everyday life
increased capacity to form meaningful and compassionate relationships with yourself and others
new perspectives on current and past problems
awareness of old and new patterns that impact your sense of well-being
manage change rather than chaos or crisis
greater ability to be emotionally expressive, creative and assertive
find practical, workable solutions
increased sense of worthiness, self-esteem, independence and contentment
less anxiety, depression and diminished shame
a kinder, more compassionate view of your body
a deeper connect to courage, creativity, resilience and hope
a stronger sense of what matters in your life
